modern art ceramics

April DeConick is an abstract expressionist who hand-builds ceramic art with an organic modern flare. She is a specialist in embossed surfaces, gestural underglazing and glazing techniques, and building layers of color and texture on her slabs.  She uses a porcelain and stoneware clay mix which she fires to 2167 degrees F.   All of her ceramics are food and dishwasher safe.
